With modern heaters and a retractable roof, guests can enjoy the Terrace Bar’s unique selection of made-to-order cocktails and exceptional food in comfort, no matter the temperature.

As you bask in the sun and gaze at the clear Cumbrian sky, it’s easy to feel transported to the South of France. And as the evening breeze picks up, the Terrace Bar transforms into a cozy space where you can dine under the stars.

The Terrace welcomes guests to a spacious and contemporary setting with contrasting textures and elegant furnishings that create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The retractable roof further enhances the experience, opening up to the sky on mild summer nights. Whether you’re sharing antipasti with friends or indulging in a champagne afternoon tea, we cater to any occasion.

Guests are invited to the stone-walled courtyard to enjoy smooth cocktails, craft gins and fine wines while making the most of the outdoors. It’s the perfect spot for sunglasses, clinking ice and rosé fuelled courses.

An extension of the chic Terrace Bistro, al fresco dining is a must in the Cumbrian summer. This is the place the locals head to to catch up over a bottle of wine or champagne. Whether it’s to share a fish board or enjoy a healthy salad. We’ve made sure that your opportunity to savour the sunshine is exemplified in the Courtyard.

The full seasonal menu, sandwich menu, and Sunday lunch menu are all available at the Terrace Bistro. Following your dining experience, head to the stylish Lounge Bar or Terrace Bar to savor an after-dinner liqueur or nightcap.
