I just wanted to write and pass my thanks and appreciation to your friendly and ever helpful staff during my stay at The Trout Hotel. I travel a lot on business and stay in many different hotels both in the UK and overseas and perhaps the greatest compliment I can pay you is that it feels like I am staying with friends and family when at The Trout.

Whether it was the bar staff advising on wine by the glass or bottle, or the breakfast team helping with a bacon sandwich in a travel bag for my drive down to Manchester early on Thursday, nothing was too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. When you are frequently away from home on business, nothing could be nicer. Thank-you!
