The Terrace Bistro offers guests a spacious and contemporary setting to relish in exceptional food and drink in the company of loved ones.
Contrasting textures and elegant furnishings present a relaxed and inviting atmosphere for friends, couples and families alike. The classic space is made even more enticing by a retractable roof which, on mild summer nights, will slide open to reveal the sky.

Following your dining experience, retreat to the stylish Lounge Bar or head to the Terrace Bar to savour an after dinner liqueur or night cap.

Monday: Closed
Tuesday: 4pm- 10pm
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: Closed
Friday: 4pm- 10pm, Cocktail hours are 5 until 7pm, limited availability
Saturday: 4pm – 10pm
Sunday:12pm -6pm
Last orders for food 9pm Sunday 7pm
Terrace will have different Opening hours when events are happening in Town or at the Hotel. Please call to check. Reservations are not required for the Terrace Bistro & Bar.
The Trout Hotel are dog friendly and dogs are allowed in the conservatory when open, but the Bistro Terrace will also allow dogs. Maximum number are set, please call for details.
PLEASE NOTE: Afternoon Tea is only available in the bar & lounges. And can only be booked by calling reception on 01900 823591. Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking. This is fully re-fundable if cancelled by 10am on the day of your reservation. Afternoon Tea is served from 2-5pm. By arrangement, we can also create a gluten free afternoon tea.
