Elegant yet homely, the Lounge Bar is a properly grown-up place to enjoy good spirits and good company. Here you will find an assortment of local ales, fine wines and all types of spirits – accompanied by conversation as smooth as the whisky.  

This stone-walled alcove is a great place to start or end your evening. Featuring a collection of carefully selected beverages including craft gins, premium single malt whiskies by Lakes Distillery, produced at nearby Bassenthwaite Lake, international beers and exceptional local ales by Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth.
