Courtyard

Our Cockermouth hotel and restaurant has the best of both worlds. A superb riverside location and a chic urban vibe. In the Courtyard, it’s the latter that prevails. 

Guests are invited to the stone-walled terrace to enjoy smooth cocktails, craft gins and fine wines while making the most of the outdoors. It’s the perfect spot for sunglasses, clinking ice and rosé fuelled courses.

An extension of the chic Terrace Bistro, al fresco dining is a must in the Cumbrian summer. This is the place the locals head to to catch up over a bottle of wine or champagne. Whether it’s to share a fish board or enjoy a healthy salad.  We’ve made sure that your opportunity to savour the sunshine is exemplified in the Courtyard.

The Trout Hotel are dog friendly and dogs are allowed in the conservatory when open, but the Bistro Terrace will also allow dogs.  Maximum number are set, please call for details.
